 This is my last Japanese blog for the semester and I have once again had another great semester learning the language and interacting with Fuse sensei and the rest of the class. I feel like I really got a lot out of learning a lot more kanji, even if sometimes, I can't memorize the reading the idea that it represents is at least in my head. I look forward to next semester and getting to learn more kanji along with grammatical rules to better help me express my thoughts that I want to say. Thanks for a great semester and see you next year!

金曜日はともだちのたんじょうびですからパーティーに行きます。土曜日と日曜日にitc building でべんきょうします。

サンクスギビングにともだちといしょにオースティンに行きました。テキサス大学や資本やダウンタウンに見ました。サンクスギビングデーにみんなさんおいしい七面鳥やケーキを食べました。

 I don't know much about kyudo other than the fact there seems to be what appears to be a type of bow and arrow involved. I would imagine it is a Japanese tradition, but the ways in which it differs from the archery I am used to are unknown. I think the only thing you need to become good at kyudo, like any other skill are time and the dedication to get better at the craft. I would love to ask the guest speaker what originally made them get into kyudo, and if there was anything they would change when first learning it.

 For this song review, I will be choosing 線香花火 which according to the internet is a type of traditional Japanese sparkler (really cool name). I really love the instrumental of this song along with the voice of the main singer さとちかい. Although I don't know any other songs from the artists I am willing to listen to more after hearing this one. 

 あきやすみはオースティンにかえりました。毎日11時に起きました。私はたくさんおいしいたべものを食べましたからたのしかったです。あきやすみの金曜日にブラックフライデーでした。ブラックフライデーはやすいふくとくつからモールに行きました。

 For my next piece of media, I am going to choose another song (surprise surprise) and this time going with メトロシティ (metro city) by いませとなとり. I found this song completely by accident one day, and ever since day has been one of my favorite Japanese songs since then. I like the upbeat vibe of the song and especially the chorus; also, just the way they say Metro City within the song is very addictive to me. If you like this song, you should definitely check out some others by Imase, as he constantly releases music of good quality.

 Once again for my media I am going to choose another song (I love music if you couldn't tell already). The song I am going with today is going to be ジュエリー(jewelry) by Le Sserafim. Although this is a K-Pop group that usually releases Korean songs, this is one of their many Japanese releases and arguably my favorite song out of their entire catalog. It also features famous Japanese producer and songwriter Imase who you may or may not know depending on how much you follow the Japanese music scene. I honestly just enjoy the upbeat sound of this song, especially the part where member さくら sings and the chorus of this song. 

 今週末にともどちのたんじょうびのパーティーに行きましたからたのしかったです。来週末に４テストをします。だから週末の木曜日から日曜日までべんきょうします。

 For my fourth blog post, I am once again going to choose a song, this time from an anime movie I recently watched. The song called "Jane Doe" by Kenshi Yonezu & Hikaru Utada starts playing during the end credits of the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie, and really is a powerful song that has an even better buildup until the peak of the song, where the two artists synchronize to make a musically pleasing song. The music video itself is also worth giving a watch, and I love the gritty dark tone presented within it.
